Creating a website without a budget or a team: mission impossible?

Spoiler: no. But you have to choose the right allies, lay the right foundations, and dare to take the plunge. Here's our advice to SSE structures that think it's not for them.

Créer un site web quand on n’a ni budget ni équipe : mission impossible ? | What The Web

A site doesn't have to be a big job

We often come across structures that tell us "we need a site... but we don't have the time, the means or the people". Good news: that's normal. And that's exactly why What The Web exists.

The creation of a website, when designed for associations, cooperatives, collectives or small structures, can be fluid, affordable and progressive. The important thing is to start with what you've got - and to be well supported.

Keep it simple, but strategic

You don't need 15 pages, a brand-new logo and a multilingual site right from the start. We always advise you to start with a clear, functional showcase site:

  • a home page explaining who you are,

  • a "what we do" or "our project" page,

  • a contact form,

  • and basta.

That's all you need to build confidence, be visible on Google, get your information out there... and build your digital presence at your own pace.

Free pricing is not a trap

"But how much will it cost?" → Another question we hear all the time.

At What The Web, we operate on free pricing. Not to look pretty. But because that's what we think is fair.

In concrete terms, that means we talk to you beforehand, to understand your project, your financial reality, your priorities. And then we define a contribution that respects your capacity... without cutting back on quality or making you feel guilty.

No project manager? No problem.

Even without someone in-house to "manage the site", you can make progress. We structure the steps with you, helping you with :

  • writing content,

  • choice of design,

  • integrating management tools,

  • and getting started.

You'll never be left on your own when faced with an English-language CMS with a 2012 tutorial.

In short: a website is a lever, not a luxury

Your website is your back office. Your shop window. Your business card. It's not a "bonus when we've got the time", it's a tool for saving time, gaining clarity and visibility. And we're here to help you create it. Step by step, with no pressure, and no surprises.
