A mission rooted in reality

At AIDE, sustainable development is not an abstract concept. It's a daily reality made up of local projects, training and tailor-made support. Whether it's supporting young farmers, restoring mangroves or providing support for young mothers, each action responds to a clearly identified need and aims to bring about tangible change.

Women, education, climate: an essential triptych

The pillars of the organization? The empowerment of women and girls, education and training, and the fight against the effects of climate change. AIDE works on all these fronts in parallel, because these issues are intimately linked. Providing access to education also means promoting economic and social emancipation. Protecting ecosystems means guaranteeing sustainable livelihoods.

Community health: going where others won't

AIDE defends a community-based approach to healthcare, working closely with marginalized populations. Thanks to its projects, young mothers are supported in their reproductive health, rural populations are better informed, and barriers to access to healthcare are beginning to fall.
